Writer’s Workshop Spotlight

Mic’kel G. wrote this wonderful poem during Writer’s Workshop! Check it out below:

Brown is the chili I eat

Brown is the penny I use

Brown is the leaves that fall from trees

Brown is the color that smooths me out

Brown is the color that is my skin

Brown is how people describe me

Brown is the sugar I eat

Brown is my family heritage
