Yesterday, students completed their first year of the 21st Century program by showcasing some of the new skills they learned over the last three weeks. The entire staff would like to extend a huge thank you to the students for all of their hard work this year. It was a joy and pleasure working with everyone. We look forward to starting things up for year two this fall!

Last week, we wrapped up our first year of the 21st Century after school program. It’s been a wonderful year and we capped things off with the Lion King performance and a student showcase at school last Thursday night. Thank you to all who have been involved in making this year great!

The students who have been participating in the Lion King production have been working extremely hard this year. They are all such a talented bunch of kids. Come to the Hillary Rodham Clinton Children’s Library & Learning Center today at Noon at 2pm to see their live show! Here is their final dress rehearsal for today’s performance and a preview of all the great things you will see and hear today if you attend the show.

If your child is in the Lion King musical, please have them at the Hillary Rodham Clinton Children’s Library at 11:00 am Saturday morning. After the first performance at 12 noon, the LRSD grants office is providing lunch for all of the student actors from Jason’s Deli. So, please plan on your child staying with us from 11:00 am until the after the final performance that begins at 2. We are all so excited about tomorrow! See you then!
